Each applicant must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Applicants must be knowledgeable and have at least two years of experience in the operation of a food service unit and the business of dispensing products to be sold from that equipment.
- Applicant must realize and accept responsibility for the overall costs and/or policies associated with installing and operating a food service business, including but not limited to:
- Product and employee costs
- Equipment costs
- Licensing and permit fees, including federal, state, and local
- Sewage pipe or electrical outlet installation as required by the city zoning or city/county health department
- Food service unit owner, family members, and/or employees cannot currently be employed where the food service unit is placed and operating.
